Balarisht is an ayurvedic arishta formulation in liquid form. The main ingredient of this formulation is Bala (Sida cordifolia) that contains ephedrine, which acts as an amphetamine-like stimulant. This formulation is helpful in the cases of Vata dosha aggravation in the body. Vata dosha aggravated disorders are mostly related to the nervous system and musculoskeletal system. It acts as a nerve tonic and provides strength to the nerves. It has anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating, nervine tonic, neuroprotective, cardioprotective, mild Diuretic, anti-paralytic, appetizer, digestive stimulant, anti-stress, and adaptogenic properties.

Contraindications

• Overdosage of balarisht in an empty stomach may cause stomach irritation.
