- Buddhi-mandya / Smriti-hrasa : Jyotishmati has been described as Buddhi-Medha-Pragya Vivardhanam. It can thus be used in patients with Buddhi-mandya and Smriti-hrasa.
- Pakshaghat / Lakva : Jyotishmati has been described as Vata-hara and Mastishka-nadi-balya. It can thus be used in Mastishka-roags, especially Pakshaghat and Ardit.
- Ardhav-bhedak : Being Vata-hara, patients with headache in one half of the head can also;
- Nadi-kshaya / Nadi-dushti / Nadi-shotha : Being Nadi-balya, Jyotishmati could be used in patients having different abnormalities in their nerves.
- Klaibya : Being Vajikaran, Jyotishmati can be used in patients Klaibya (Low Maithun-shakti).
- Hypothyroidism : Jyotishmati has been found to possess thyro-stimulant activity. On this basis, it could be used in the management of hypo-thyroidism.
